Fresher than fresh

Today a friend brought us, amongst other delicious home-grown products, a KAKAI pumpkin. Am I the only one on the planet not to have heard of them? Don't know what kakai means, but the seeds can be eaten raw or roasted, and the flesh can be baked, steamed etc. Visions of pumpkin pie keep disturbing me; the big question - would that be more fattening than Easter eggs? What a dilemma : - (
