Up there with Avenida Mao Tse Tung in the list of ‘favourite Maputo road names’ is another I spotted today, Rua Aloé Vera.

I read a chapter of my book in the Jardim Dona Berta. Reading on a bench surrounded by greenery is one of the more pleasurable activities one can engage in of a Sunday. Jardim Dona Berta also has nicely fashioned metal trash (lixo) receptacles.
