Not golf

Mr B very kindly offered to make a chicken casserole for a ‘fellow blipper friend’. Took it over at 11 am, then popped in to a nearby Aldi, and Boscombe for Polish bread and a few things from Sainsbury’s.

Home for salad. Then the 2:30 Lymington bus, which luckily stops at the Royal Bournemouth & Christchurch hospital, arriving in no time at all.

Poole and Bournemouth hospitals are undergoing change. A&E will be all be in Bournemouth, planned surgery in Poole. So substantial works being carried out. The main entrance temporarily moved to the rear of the hospital. Was impressed to find this golf buggy collecting passengers from the bus stop – saving a long walk to the other end! Luckily only the two of us waiting on arrival and departure!

Saw a lovely young Romanian eye doctor. Calm, conscientious and patient with me. She reassured me my eyes were ‘fine’ (pressure, and vision) except my right eye surface - is - inflamed. So back on steroid drops again. And advised to also use the dry eye drops 4x daily, even if my eyes aren’t giving problems, and Ok to use hourly if they are. So a relief, nothing to worry about.

Just enjoyed an Aldi vegan hot-cross bun, needed that. Excellent and not sweet and sickly like some I bought the other day from their competitor.
