Getting back to normal.

Had a very enjoyable wine club meeting last night.
Presentation by HC Wines of York.
‘ Around the World in 6 wines”.
So we tasted wines from France, Italy, South Africa, Portugal, Spain, and Argentina.
Did you know that wine is 85%water, and the wine value in a £5.99 bottle of wine is only 63pence. In a £12 bottle it rises to £4.50p.
We bought a white Chenin Blanc from Stellenbosuch, and an organic red Rioja from Spain.
Both £9 a bottle so a reasonable amount of wine in the bottle.

The carpet fitters finished just after 5pm, so we managed to get the bed cleared before we went out.

We were told the new bed would be delivered between 8am and 12 noon today.
I forgot to set the alarm, and at 7.30 am MrC got a text on his phone to say they were on their way!
A quick dash downstairs, both of us in dressing gowns, and as I was pulling the kitchen blind up they were coming down the garden path. Just 7.45am!
Our youngest son helped us get the furniture back upstairs.
Then Mr C took the car to the garage to have a new shock absorber fitted, and I have spent the rest of the day putting things back in drawers, pictures back on the wall etc.
Almost back to normal.
Looking forward to sleeping in the new bed tonight!
