Little Thatch
That’s the name of this little grade two listed thatched building we passed today on our group walk. We had done a slight detour into the village as one of the group suggested we had our coffee break in the churchyard there sitting on proper benches, a good idea. We were extremely lucky with the weather, no rain, although some had been forecast and we had some overnight. A ten mile advertised walk turned into an eleven miler and I can certainly feel all the ups and downs. It’s been a couple of years since I have walked in the area and some paths were new to me. The extra is a misty rural view. There was a very strong smell of rotting apples when we passed the Apple orchards.
