A warm sunny…
morning to go looking at Osprey nests. The male from the island nest was defending his territory and mate over a huge area, presumably she is lying low and laying. The nest along the river seemed unoccupied as yet. They are due back any day.
There were Treecreepers (extra) , Woodpeckers, Siskins, and assorted finches and tits and plenty of song.
A young Roe buck was in the field behind the house., probably disturbed by tourist dogs.
