Grey Heron

The young one was waiting on top of the dovecote again. As soon as she saw me she flew down to the park entrance. The extra filet seems to have made a difference as she flies off to the nest as soon as she has finished eating.
This afternoon she flew over to the side of the loch. Her crest feathers seem to be permanently sticky. I assume it is from feeding the young. The rain just added to her bedraggled look. Again she was right back after she had fed..
