Emergency Dino
Dino was left behind when my grandson went home with his dad last night. It's not a desperate situation - no-one had to drive to or from Glasgow to make sure he was returned so Dino can stay here till we next see each other. I made Christmas crackers last year and Dino was in my grandson's. I say 'in' but actually Dino is far too chubby to fit inside a homemade cracker. They tend to fall to bits anyway and a dinosaur would be the tin lid. Instead he was attached to the cracker with an elastic band. The whole thing looked bizarre.
My last two interviews for the evaluation project this morning. Very interesting they were too. The first was with a former colleague from my last permanent job. It was really nice to see and catch up with her as well as get her useful views.
I've been out for a couple of short walks. The first one was early as I was awake well before first light. The weather was OK then but it has deteriorated so I don't think I'll be out again. I've got some reading to do for next week so I'll do that. Back to so-called wind down yoga tonight and then an early night to make up for the early start.
