do birds get birch allergy?

Apparently not! originally, i wanted to focus on this caerula titum, (blue tit, is that correct?), a quite frequent visitor since i started to spread sunflower seeds on the window sill.

but the camera preferred to show me those birch seeds ready to explode! this made me understand my itching eyes (since yesterday) and the kind of uneasyness i felt today with face creams and make-up which i use normally. when i imagine that all these seeds are going to open up one of these days, it makes me shudder!
