MV Strannik was leaving Port this morning on flat calm seas they were even up on the flying bridge as our weather is so mild. I had not seen this boat before so had to look it up and their web site is very good even within the gallery showing some of the build. MV Strannik web site. 


The Extra
MSC Alabama (MSC = Mediterranean Shipping Company) on Main Wharf Port Nelson, I was ask on a Blip recently what sort of Port Nelson was in the  big scheme of things. As a rule most ships stay in port for a single tide some maybe a double tide but Alabama has broken all the ports records by staying for four tides and 1100 moves. A "Move" = taking a box (container) off or onto the ship.
