Field of Hope

This glorious spectacle greets us every spring at a local road junction. It is called a Field of Hope planted by the Marie Curie charity. They seem to have taken over many local roundabouts and verges. Is it the same all over the country, I wonder.

Everybody is still talking about the weather, but instead of grumbling they are incredulous at the sunshine and the warm air. What a sudden and welcome change!
