Argyll Square

The children were back to school today so I was back at my desk in Oban. A quick trip up to the Hydropathic hotel (Blipped a couple of weeks ago) this time to see the view.

You do get a good view of Oban from this vantage point. Look across Argyll square, out over the island of Kerrera and you can just make out Lismore lighthouse catching the sun today at the top right. The mountains on the top left are the Isle of Mull and the ferry at the pier looks like it may be heading out to Mull any minute..

The whale has disappeared from the bay but I hear he is not very far away so maybe we shall see him again.
