Plastic cakes

As seen in the window at Betty’s Tearooms in Harrogate as we passed by after leaving there where we had enjoyed ourselves with the ‘Champagne Afternoon Tea’. Ridiculously overpriced of course.

I suppose it was our reward for visiting, or should I say enduring, the Turkish Baths this morning. I do wonder how beneficial it is to shower then get into the cold water plunge pool and then enter the steam room. Repeat again but go into the dry heat room and then repeat again but go into the very hot dry heat room (65 degrees!) Afterwards relax in the quiet room.

Really enjoyed our day to be honest and also had a lovely walk through one of the town’s flower filled parks in the sunshine. All of the things we did can be highly recommended.
