Dog Walk Silhouette

It’s another beach today - but you’ll be relieved to know it’s Kinmel Bay rather than West Shore. I’ve chosen this location in the hope of Mono Monday silhouettes, the huge expanses of westward stretching sands being ideal backdrops.

The weather’s better than expected, hazy sunshine for now at least, though still the wind is cold and walkers are wrapped against the chill. This may well explain just how few are strolling on the beach despite the fact that we are now in the full throw of school Easter holidays - but G, who’s braved a walk in Rhyl itself, has seen many ice-cream-eating holiday makers on the prom.

Still, I spot several possibilities far out on the sands, families trying to make the best of their time here, but none form the silhouettes I’m looking for. Then at last I spot a dog walker with her very energetic pooch - and I know this will be my shot for the day.

Edited in Snapseed, I’m really not convinced it meets the low-key brief, but it’s definitely a silhouette! Thanks to Carolina for hosting!
