clay vs. grass

my 11-year old brother sent me a text message today.
he wrote about nadal's win over federer in the battle of the surfaces i.e he sent me a sports report.
i smiled when i read it.
all this while, i've always been my brother's espn-watching partner, despite my severe lack of skills in any kind of sports ever invented by humankind.
now that i'm a few thousand miles away from home, i guess it's just a way of him saying that he misses me.
at least, that's what I want to believe..
