Poor Tired Boy
Little B, after his walk, found a cosy patch of sun to doze in.
When Lucy was here yesterday, it was too much for him, and he was very agitated by the evening. I took him for a second walk around the block, refrained from talking to him very much, and let him walk, smell, tiddle and generally discharge all of his energy and anxiety. It was really peaceful, just the sound of the birds, and the cool nip in the air.
When we returned, he was still, and went to sleep five minutes after I left. It's the first time I've seen a dog so dysregulated - and in need of co-regulation as he didn't know what he needed. I was glad I could do something to help him!
