The Barony Hall

This particular building dates back to 1889 although the parish dates back to 1595. It was a church until 1985 when it was sold to the University of Strathclyde. More information is available here. I graduated here in 1991. That seems like a long time ago.

I really like the spire and the intricate detail on it. All the better for the fact that the sun came out this morning. It makes quite a contrast with Glasgow Cathedral which is (almost) a stone's throw away.
