"Snakes. Why Did It Have To Be Snakes?"

On This Day In History
1979: Ugandan dictator Idi Amin is overthrown

Quote Of The Day
"Although some people felt Adolf Hitler was bad, he was a great man and a real conqueror whose name would never be forgotten."
(His Excellency, President for Life, Field Marshal Al Hadj, Doctor Idi Amin Dada, V.C., D.S.O., M.C., Lord of All the Beasts of the Earth and Fishes of the Seas and Conqueror of the British Empire of Africa in General and Uganda in Particular)

All the Easter bonnets came into school today. That was a joy to behold. Our bonnets were required to be on the theme of S.D.G. 15, Life On Land, so we were encouraged to make bonnets with land animals that lay eggs. There aren't that many. This is my Easter bonnet, with snakes protecting their eggs. I shall blip some of the children's efforts over the next few days; they are wonderful.

Perhaps Idi Amin could have added another title to that pompous list; Crawling King Snake.
