I'm leaving, on a jet plane...

Unfortunately I missed out a blip yesterday, so hopefully this is as good as two blips!


So today was the last day, the holiday crew is once again returning home. But of course we've had a fantastic last day, and done it I style - as ever!

It started with a rush of packing - boring, but executed very efficiently! Then off for breakfast at La Tahona - standard. There's no other place to have breakfast in all of Spain as far as we're concerned.

Then it was round the pool for another scorching day, a little diving in the pool, some sunbathing, and, of course, San Miguels in an ice chilled bucket!

Then we went for our lunch, a little place called Rika Taberna, opened by a Scottish fella who'd been in Spain for 5 months & had been open for business for 3 weeks. He knocked up some superb grub, including a monstrous fresh paella in the middle of the table - two course each at the bargain price of ?7.50 each; all washed down with beer, red & white wine, and some drambuie to finish!

Then it was back to the pool for the last of the afternoon sun, before returning to the apartment for a glass of champers before we left - which is where I go my blip moment!
