Christmas again?

Today, like a lot of other families in the world, we had another Christmas celebration! NSLLDC’s grandparents, uncle and aunt couldn’t meet us near Christmas due to health problems on their part and ours too. They came to see us today and we celebrated Christmas! They brought this marvellous bunch of flowers and some Christmas presents! The chocolates we exchanged were nearly out of date! We had a laugh! 
NSLLDC was brilliant and helped me cook all morning! I’m feeling a lot better, but I’m not 100% yet. It was a bit sad to see them dive into creamy broccoli cheese while eating a boiled potatoes, but, like the French say, c’est la vie! ;-)
After lunch we played a board game and I was extremely pleased to see LDC at the table with us all laughing away all the time! I think seeing people is helping him a lot! Tomorrow he’s going back to work after two weeks off. Let’s hope he can manage it. Fingers crossed.
