IT'S MOTORHEAD SUNDAY

As mentioned yesterday, the Champ Cars (the old Chump Car series) are at Road America this weekend.

We've seen all four seasons in the last 72 hours. Snow Friday, rain Saturday and sunshine and, relatively, warm temps Sunday (we're talking 40s F. here.)

I have to laugh a little at the GTi in the Extra photo. That high riding wing designed to give downdraft to the drive wheels is a true anachronism. As far as I know, the VW GTi is  front wheel drive so that wing is useless and might actually slow down the car somewhat. But these Champs are really Chumps at heart and the driver is likely aware of that. It's all in fun.
