Rusty

After a lazy morning I spent a couple of hours out this afternoon with the camera club. The meeting place was on Spittal prom so I didn’t have far to go…it wasn’t too cold so there was quite a good turn out. I had an enjoyable couple of hours on the beach with my camera and like minded friends.

I was quite taken with this pebble which at first glance looked like a piece of rusty metal. The rust colour comes from a mine drainage outlet at the end of the beach…see this blip. I took a walk around the village before heading home so managed to add another 3 miles to my tally.
