River Gelt viewpoint

I’ve had a busy day. The weather forecast was better in the east so I headed to Hadrians Wall Country. My morning walk was in The River Gelt gorge near Brampton and this is where I took this photo.
My afternoon walk was doing a section of the Wall from Walltown.
Horror of horrors for my followers…I had no coffee shop stop. I didn’t bother stopping at Lanercost cos it’s always busy on a Sunday and another fave at Greenhead was closed!
I did manage to get a cardboard takeaway from the kiosk at Walltown after my walk.
