High ....

...... on a hill in a tree sat a lonely Kestrel!

A warmer walk today ..... lovely sunshine most of the time ..... just a few clouds about & the breeze was lighter & slightly less chilly! :-)

No sign of yesterday's Chiffchaff though we did hear a couple.

We watched a pair of Buzzards riding the thermals .... getting higher & higher ..... love to see them do this :-)

We wandered through the wood on the way home hoping to find some Forget-Me-Nots .... no luck but we did spot this male Kestrel on the hunt!

Typically he was perched with clouds as a backdrop .... he could have chosen a tree with blue sky behind! ;-)

This is fairly heavily cropped as he was high in the tree & kept flying to the next tree when I got anywhere near ..... do wish they wouldn't do that .... not sure what they think we can do! ;-)

Unlikely to be online tomorrow as I have my annual MOT/check up & have got to attend the surgery this year! Managed to get away with a phone appointment the last two years ... no such luck this time! We also have several things to get so will do it all in one go! Will catch up when I can!
