They've gone!

Over a year after we completed the purchase of our house and nearly eleven months since we moved in, the last two builders finally left the site yesterday.  Nigel and Ed were the last two Contractors left to do the final bits of work and tidying up; fixing drains, last bits of Tarmac etc.  Frankly, we noticed that they didn't have enough to do and were standing around looking bored most of the time.  A couple of really nice guys; always had a chat and one even occasionally gave me a newspaper now and again (apparently someone used to give it to him and he never read it!).  I've done a comparison of the view from our bedroom window now against how it looked a year ago; quite a difference.  The area in front will be either turfed or seeded next week so will be a nice green space to look out upon.
