Haring Around

This morning I walked with A over to Letheringsett and we were delighted to see several hares running around the farmer's fields. The path we were on was about 4ft below the height of this field and the hare in the photo ran straight towards us and only stopped late on when it became aware of us - a good job as I didn't have my long lens on the camera! They run so fast and cover so much ground in no time at all. What a treat to be able to watch these wonderful creatures.
