Avocet

This afternoon we went for a brief walk around Burton Mere. There were hundreds of small birds singing their hearts out but they were difficult to see. There were several Avocets there so thought I'd blip this one. Must get on, as in 4 hours time we're off to a Manchester Airport hotel for the 'night', ( we have to be there by 3am to try and avoid the worst of the queues). Tomorrow we are hoping to get off on our 2 years delayed trip to Peru.
