The Snow Melts ...

... and the river floods! Just hope it melts slowly and gives the water time to get downstream to the sea or that will be the next headache for some people. (Don't worry about this house - it's not actually in the river. I just happened to be up a hill:-)) Notice the difference in the sky to yesterday's blip! Very little blue today, unfortunately, although the wind has dropped now.

I had a dental appointment this afternoon to discuss the options for a large back filling which fell out a few days ago. The options didn't fill me with joy: £320 for a metal and porcelain crown or £420 for an all porcelain one! Ever seen a poor dentist?!!
