And?

Happy eightieth Dad. Hard to believe, but true in every sense. Still has a lot of sense left too. Been a fabulous week at the cottage in the Lakes. Great to be together with my brother, his girls, my clan, Ali and the man himself. Thanks to Ali who arranged it all and spent a good few months putting together an awesome video of all who knows "Big Ern" from all over the place. Many thanks Dad for taxi-ing us all this week as my brother & I were unable to drive (two perfectly good cars on the drive way) due to the drugs we are both on and not to mention the "multiple fractures" between us both. It did not bother him one bit as that is the nature of our great Dad. But then, it did give him the perfect opportunity to push his new electric Kia to the limit and have fun with it(!). Yep, an 80 year old in a new electric car. He is very gadget/techy minded and has pretty much everything. So much so he was given an Insta camera from the girls for his birthday as they ran out of techy present ideas (see extra of my Dad putting it to use).

As Mrs Tuttle shares the same birthday, the Tuttle clan headed to the promenade of Grange-On-Sands for a spot of lunch where Tuttle Jnr used the power of his mind to photobomb a photo of my filter coffee with a teaspoon (extra). Came across a closed-down-years-ago outdoor swimming pool a stone throw away from the café we were at. A typical case of too good to demolish but too expensive renovate. The photo in the extra was taken "blind" holding my camera over the wall and hoping for the best. Worked at second attempt.

A certain big "50" coming up next year. Yipes. Lets concentrate on staying young at 49.......
