Windy Day

I usually stumble across the photos I feature, discovering them in my day to day life, but today I really worked at creating a photograph rather than simply taking one. It was a very windy day, so windy I didn't even venture down to the beach in search of Sunday volleyball. The wind did inspire me to attempt an image showing the blowing palm trees. I felt like a real photographer, hauling out my tripod, scouting locations that showed a static object close to the rapidly moving palms, and waiting for the light levels to drop enough so I could show movement. Then I took a ton of photos, utilizing my Trigger Trap cable release for the first time (and it worked flawlessly). I thought there would be more blur in this image, especially considering the six second exposure, but I still liked the combination of blur and sharp.
