Victory Garden Progress

Darling, this year we will have a more productive garden than last year. Just wait and see. Today I pulled all the weeds out and then mulched around the plants. You'll notice one tomato plant is bigger than all the others, that was a replacement for one of my seedlings that died. I did that for a handful of the plants. Thanks Lowes. I think next year I might just skip the whole seed process and just purchase already established plants. It's not that much more money and it's a whole lot less heartache. But, it's not as rewarding.

I don't understand why grass grows so well in my vegetable bed. It's not like I put seed in it. I wish I could get the grass in my yard to grow as prolifically.

It's come a long way since I started the seeds.

I think the feral cat I've been feeding shredded a squirrel or rabbit at my front door. There was a huge mess of fur and remnants on my front walk. I hope she does'nt have rabies but Animal Control has no traps and no plans to get more so I don't know what to do about her.
