All stitched out ...

I've been busy on my sewing machine and overlocker all day but don't have anything to show for my efforts yet. It's so frustrating, I've been sewing for ever (I made my going away outfit for our wedding 50 years ago!), but I've still got so much to learn.

I was watching some "Made to Sew" YouTube tutorials by the lovely Aneka Truman to help me get a more professional finish to the invisible zip and the neck facing, but I slipped up at one point and I will need to unpick part of it. I'll start again tomorrow when I'm fresh. 

Meanwhile, I'm loving the jersey fabric with the mice on, even though it's a devil to work with. I know my little granddaughter will look fabulous in the dress!
