Spring in their step

The time is come to let some of the cattle out of the over-wintering yards and on to the grass.  It is always a joy to watch as they once again feel the freedom.  They usually make straight for the closed gate opposite  and then move around the boundaries finishing up at their yard gate where they ask to come back in!  But soon they settle down and some hay is put out for them as they are not used to eating the grass.
