Radiating Raindrops

A grey day, raining on and off. I found it tough to get motivated. Continuing my theme of water patterns (haven't named my series yet), I got interested in radiating circles from raindrops. There was quite a bit of wind, so the ripples were broken up, only adding to the intricacies.

The histogram was quite narrow because of the flat light, so I was surprised that I could produce an image with as much detail as I did. Then it was a case of selection, format and balancing the exposure. I think sometimes water ripple images don't have enough variety, but I feel this one is ok.
