Old Pals

David’s friend from primary school days, Chris, came over to spend a good part of the day with us. First we had a cup of tea at The Duke and then we enjoyed a lovely sunny and dry walk along the river on the public footpath to Peover for a late lunch. We ate at The Bells of Peover - my plate was a Sea Bass Niçoise Salad with a poached egg on top, anchovies, green beans, olives and other salad ingredients. I should’ve taken a photo! And finished off with clotted cream ice cream!
We walked back in time to have another cup of tea with David’s sister, Nicky who had kindly brought our dry washing back with her!
