On the ledge

I am trying my best to keep the grocery store flowers going as long as I can (to get my money's worth, right!).   These were starting to get really ragged looking so I put them in the little bottles on the window ledge above the sink.    

I know I will enjoy them as they seem to have perked up with the short stems and fresher water.  

The screen porch is still coming along.  I have put a work in progress photo in the extras.  About halfway complete...except for running two electrical receptacles, a new porch light, finish up painting, redo the steps and probably he will replace the roof...or get someone else to do that part!     The upper area above where the screen goes is going to be a pain the butt for hubby as it will have to be special cut and pieced.  I know this would have been so much easier if he had started with no roof and no existing railings, etc.  He may take a few days break before starting the next part.   I won't make him work on weekends!!!
