There is something deeply satisfying about my monthly pedicure, at first some of my friends weren’t quite sure what to make of it but I guess after all this time they are used to it. I spend over half the year in flip flops, all year round I’m in and out of the sea and I walk at least three miles most days with Paddy.
It’s not just that my feet are looked after and pampered for an hour, it’s an hour when my phone is switched off, I’m not near a computer and I can talk to Annie as much or as little as I like, complete relaxation.

I also enjoy walking, I try to go every day with Paddy, if we can we include Fox Rosehill Garden where todays photograph was taken. When the weather is good the garden is used by students from the university which sits adjacent but normally it’s quiet and empty, great place to sit and contemplate your navel for ten minutes or so.

Quite looking forward to the weekend, Falmouth Rugby have their last home match and the opportunity for what could be a ‘good’ row out in the gig on Sunday.
