Jim's Tree

Jim planted this not long after he had moved in over 20yrs ago, although it was supposed to be no higher than 3m, now about 5m+ & still growing up. I had given it an undercut to lift the canopy last year & doesn't seem to have stopped its growth.

The leaves are opening & the tiny red flowers are open. Makes, me think of Jim but happy that it is growing well.

Chilly morning & sunshine with hailstones in the afternoon.

Looking forward to watching Beechgrove & Gardener's World tonight then TV off after that. May even make a hot chocolate to go with the viewing.

Still feeling tired.
