St Mary's
Mrs BB messaged me late afternoon that there was a parcel to pick up in Monmouth (South Wales, UK) and the Friday afternoon traffic was building up on the A40 just outside. After collecting the parcels I enjoyed a walk around the town before heading home and took the country lane route through Welsh Newton (Herefordshire)
The church of St Mary's is the centre of the village and I stopped to get an aerial view of it. The sun appeared to have gone for the day. It's a 13th century Knights Templar Church - you can read its history here
Some friends are calling in this evening and we're off out to 'Spoons for a catch up. A good start to the weekend.
