And away we go!

Another power cut overnight. It woke us up at 5am, the landline phone beeping away to alert us. Our alarm was set for 6am so we could catch the first ferry but we didn't manage to get back to sleep.

Thankfully, the power was back on before we left and we made it to the ferry in time. The crossing was quite bumpy and I ended up having to lie down, which is rare on this route. 

We were down at Nairn by mid afternoon, after a wet and windy stop on the Black Isle on the way. Lovely to be camping in amongst trees. A good site we've been to before, very dog friendly and with with dog walks in the woods.
