New Binocs

Went on a short hike at Portland Audubon today. A perfect soft and warm day. I brought along our honking, big binoculars and a pair of small ones, too. Eager for the walk, the company, the chance to see some birds, but kind of dreading putting my eyesight to the test and probably struggling to see anything very small or far away. But Barb wanted to check out binoculars, so I checked them out, too, as did Di. And we all three bought new ones! The new ones are SO much better than the 30 or 40 year old ones, they are so good, I can see much more than I dreamed, really! But I can't take pictures with them, oh if I could, I would. 
I sat in my back yard when I got home, looking and looking through the new binocs.
