Last Day In Lincoln, First In Manchester
Started the day with an early visit to Lincoln to see the Gaia display at the museum. This huge globe is lit up and rotates in a large empty room - quite impressive, though it would have been enhanced by being tilted so the Northern Hemisphere was more visible and also it would have been a nice touch to have had dark on one side of the room. Nevertheless, quite impressive - see extra. Sad to be leaving our excellent host behind, but excited to see this couple for the evening in Manchester after securing our pitch at the Royal Vale Campsite near Knutsford. Had a great curry with Julia and Tom after meeting in Sainsbury's and great stimulating time of chatting over the dinner table. Then on to spend our first proper night in the Duke which started with full power heating to make the place warm - love the ability to use electricity and gas combined to really churn out some heat. Pretty good night's sleep and looking forward to spending 3 nights here without actually going very far.
