Nest building

After a visit to the podologist in Ponte Tresa, I headed down to the lakeside for a classic Italian icecream. I chose "nocciole" (hazelnut), which lived up to all expectation. Yum, yum!
As I stood by the lake, I observed these two swans, frantically building their nests around them, whilst in situ. Now I understand why they need such long necks!
