Oy with the poodles already!

Is it just me, or can you also see a poodle in the hail that gathered on the door sill this afternoon? The title? A phrase used by us Gilmore Girls fans: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=urkXoKCKNkk

Woke to a chilly day and  gales gusting up to 50mph so decided it might not be the best weather to go out to lunch to celebrate mum’s birthday (had booked an outdoor hut at the nearby cheese cafe). Instead we invited a neighbour round for a cream tea. And just as well we did. At lunchtime, along with the gales, the skies darkened, we had a clap of thunder and then the torrential hail showers started, and lasted most of the afternoon. It was only when our guest left that I discovered the ice poodle on the front door sill. (In extras I’ve hidden a pic of the camera shy birthday girl, I think it’s a lovely photo.)
