Half-marathon

Although the rest of the day was windy and sunny, conditions were really awful for the Edinburgh Half-Marathon. So bad that at the end,the party was cancelled and the competitors had to hang around a long time to get their bags back as the marquee wasn't safe.

This is the winner Bryan Mackie, who finished in 1:15:24, running up the Cowgate against a strong wind.
