Left-overs for .............

..... breakfast for the garden birds.

Seems they are much appreciated, especially by blackbirds - this feeder is only about ten feet from the back door so provides good "through the glass" photo opportunities if I move very slowly and carefully - as you can, tell this blackbird had spotted me but I managed a few shots before he left (he did come back).

I liked this shot as you can just see the reflection of the house roof in his eye and he has tiny feathers under his chin/beak!!

Last year the blossom was out on all the fruit trees in the garden - click the small thumbnail to the right to see - only just have small buds this year so far - so much colder!!
