Winter landscape

Today's the day .................... to return

We're on our way home - but just not quite there yet.  We stopped off with friends, Jane and Steve (see extra) who live near the village of Beauly, to the west of Inverness.

This morning we woke up to a covering of snow.  Admittedly it was soon on the melt - but it lasted long enough for us to walk up to Loch nam Bonnach.  It was a beautiful spot to be - although we felt that winter had returned, bringing us our first taste of a snowy landscape this year.

Tomorrow we will get on our way home.  Apologies for not commenting very often while we've been away - I'll catch up soon . . . . . . . . . . . !
