Futures Past and Present

We ventured into South Yorkshire today to pick up the new car from Doncaster. 
Coming out of the station, the first thing I noticed was this enormous mural. It is said to be the longest mural in Britain, as it wraps around most of the building. Each part of the mural is supposed to reflect local heritage and tradition. There's more about it here. I didn't have a wide lens with me, so this is a pano shot done on the compact.

Now to go and play with the car and see if I can work out how all the hi tech gismos work. The salesman did a brilliant job, but you can only absorb so much information in one go! It only took 11 months to arrive from ordering it due to the semiconductor shortages. On the plus side, the old car appreciated by 22% in the meantime!
