sitting in the sun watching me

They waited whilst I got the camera before moving - I got a couple of pics though. Ziggy’s a bit out of focus and I haven’t got all of Nelly’s front legs but I got them together. They were wondering what I was doing kneeling on the kitchen floor scrubbing a rug. It’s a lovely rug - lilac with soft grey flowers on it - and it’ll suit our new carpet in front of the woodburner very well. I’ve tried all the fancy carpet cleaners and none of them work so I made hot soapy water with washing powder in and got down on my hands and knees to scrub it and it’s coming up like new. Hard work though. The third I’ve done is hanging on the back of two chairs in front of the radiator. Will work on it again tomorrow.
