One day many seasons
In our plans, today was meant to be reasonable weather so we had a varied day planned with a goodly amount of outdoor time. Needless to say, every time we got out of the car the heavens opened and the wind stormed. The day started with Lyddington Bedehouse where we learnt a lot about care of the homeless through the ages - photo in extras, then we went onto Kirby Hall which has a lot of roofless space but also some rooms that have been saved from decay and restored to an appropriate state of being interesting to visit. The main blip is taken in one of the rooms there. Our outside bit of the visit there did get rained off which was a bit of a shame. The last part of the plan was the Welland/Harrington Viaduct which is allegedly the longest in the UK. It has 82 spans and is over 1200 metres long. Quite a sight even in the rain! Some of that in extras. A real April Showers day
